WWOOFing with us...
Situated in the beautiful Blackdown Hills on the Devon/Somerset border on a five acre holding, we do our best to live lightly (water and space heating from solar and wood/pellets, grow fruit, herbs and vegetables, home preserving etc).

There’s always plenty to do, currently we are creating a new terraced fruit and vegetable garden which has raised beds, poly tunnel, greenhouse on the site of our old sloping garden (about ¼ acre total) and need help de-weeding/nettle pulling and digging/constructing new beds as well as general upkeep, planting, sowing and harvesting (companion planted and organic).

We also have a small breeding herd of alpacas (16 currently), which are kept solely for their fibre which we process locally into woven and felted products, so we have plenty of muck to move around, fencing, pasture and woodland maintenance.

We run courses in rural and traditional arts, crafts and skills and also have four star/Green Tourism Gold B&B accommodation (see link for photos) where you will stay. Unfortunately we cannot usually take WWOOFers when we have courses running as the accommodation is let to students, so we are looking for short term stays between courses (three nights to a week).

Couples or friends are welcome and we would be glad of help for 5hrs per day in exchange for bed & meals (self catered in your accommodation), leaving you free to explore the beautiful hills and surrounding area in the afternoons (approx 30 mins to the Jurassic coastline).

we require that all WWOOFers have their own insurance and valid wwoof membership number
- you will be asked for these before you come to stay.
