Creative Writing
THE OPENING
LOTUS
Tutor; Elizabeth Rapp (web)
Whether you are an experienced writer, or have never put pen to paper, all comers are welcome.
Elizabeth is a well published writer and experienced teacher, who delights in helping people discover what riches are tucked away inside their own life experience which can be expressed in writing.
The focus of this day, will be to create a series of Haiku, maybe to put into your hand bound book and keep.
Haiku is the
world's shortest poetic form, in just three lines, they often express profound
truths in the simplest of natural images, a single thought, feeling or idea.
Elizabeth will share Renga as well as Haiku, and a little history of these
fascinating Japanese courtly pastimes.
A relaxing day of complete
enjoyment and discovery.
