Roll of J Cloths
...It was warm and sunny!

Thankfully it was a lovely sunny day and it wasn't long before j cloths of freshly moulded paper started covering the washing lines and fence. By the end of the day there was barely an inch of lawn uncovered! Everyone produced a massive quantity of amazingly different papers, there were all colours of the rainbow, with inclusions from onion skins to catnip, grass and leaves, nothing was safe in the garden!

The cats got concerned for their welfare as Rosalind discussed the possibilies of including animal fibres. They worried needlessly, as we went on to use threads, golds, food colouring, madder root, coffee, speciality teas and twigs. I think everyone was very pleased with their results!

Thank
you Rosalind and all who attended (faces old and new) for making the day such
a great sucess.
We eagerly await a late spring class with Rosalind, maybe to explore the use
of plant fibres - Daffodil paper was mentioned?!
