This delightful basket is a traditional design from Italy where it would be used for gathering mushrooms or for taking to the market. It involves a number of intricate basket making techniques so would provide a new challenge for those with some experience. Beginners may attend, but will make the border and handle more simply.

£75 for two days including materials

Sharp secateurs
Small very sharp knife (or craft knife)
Ruler
Bodkin (if you have one)

All of the above will be available for loan if you do not have any particular item, so please don’t buy anything specially.

Comfortable footstool or cushion to sit on if you do not
want to sit on a chair.
