Decorative Painting
Tutor;
Di Singleton, Cottage Designs (website)
Learn to paint flowers, leaves and other decorative patterns, using simple
traditional methods. There will be two designs taught, Snowdrop and Muscari,
each circled in a wreath of tiny flowers and leaves. With time you will be
able to apply these techniques to almost any objects for decoration, however,
for simplicity, a base painted tissue box may be purchased, or students may
bring a prepared wooden box file to make into a charming recipe holder. Tutored
by the author of three books on this fascinating and useful art.

Di has agreed to return and teach another class on 15th October 2004 - the deep octagonal box, which everyone was admiring. The pattern is a bee in honeysuckle!
