'BEADS & BRAIDS'
( day workshop for those with experience in Kumihimo)

Beads and braids are a perfect complement. With such a wealth of bead types available and a myriad of different braids, the potential is enormous. This workshop is intended for those with some experience of Kumihimo, so that students can concentrate on the processes of combination.

The main focus will be on beading after braiding . A large number of different techniques will be covered providing students with the ability to combine many types of beads in a range of styles. Students will then be able to choose which area they wish to explore.
The course will also cover beaded ends and joins thus enabling students to have the opportunity to continue any of the samples into a finished item of jewellery.
